Good stuff, Chris!

A funny thing will often happen when you stand up for these things you believe- your peers will respect you. Sure, it may be funny/cute or whatever to people that you're the kid who doesn't drink, do drugs, or "always does the right thing," but if you're steadfast in your walk, you may see those same people that laughed at you come to you when they realize they need to be saved!

"Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ" Galatians 1:10

yeah thats true because i (and im sure many other people to) have big trouble with opening up to people and telling them why i have committed my life to God. It sounds wierd, but people are really just curious and dont look to laugh at you but me being the insecure person i am, see it as just a thing people laugh about. But yeah but by lookin at what Jesus did and knowing it was all for us, it makes me know that i can do this for him. Yeah so thanks chris i need to do remember that a lot more while im talking to my friends in school and outside of school.

This weekend was so amazing God showed me that I have to evangilize. I do feel more open now to share my faith. I also forgave someone very important to me this weekend, that didnt know Christ, but now its amazing after that I can see God working inside of this person and its so heart warming and amazing!

oops i didnt mean to press the submit button, i want done. anyway..
my big realization this weekend is summed up in this: there is no love without forgiveness, and there is no forgiveness without love. you cant love a person the way God loves us if you dont forgive, and you cant forgive a person without loving htem. you cant just say "i forgive you" and still hold that anger inside you. justin talked about the forgive and forget thing; you forgive, and not forget what that person did, but you let go of the hurt, you stop letting it plague you and anger you. k, im done. love you all.

so basically..
forgive. no matter who hurt you, how bad they hurt you, whether or not you think they deserve it. because in the end none of us deserve it, but God gave it to us freely, so if we're loving others as He loved us, we'll forgive each other. sometimes the hurt can be so bad when someone who means the world to you completely screws you over, but when you think about it, if that relationship means that much to you, it isnt worth it to stay mad.

wow brooke, that was really good. this makes me think of hebrews 13:5 which is recently like my favorite verse lol. its says, "never will i leave you, nor will i forsake you." its that plain and simple, GOD NEVER LEAVES US. we have to realize that when we feel alone- if the people in our lives leave us, or let us down- God is permanently there, and it is impossible for Him to let us down. we have to realize that human love can be flawed, but God's love is perfect and He is the only one we can truly 100% count on. also, if we leave God, if we fall away, He'll always be there with open arms to welcome us back. its so encouraging and reminds me that nothing i do can make God love me any less. one of holyfire's songs deals with that kind of thing, (coming home, if yah wanna listen).
